RAASE seeks to end the demand for sexually exploited individuals through preventative measures, survivor protection, accountability of violators, and community engagement.

If you are being exploited or trafficked and want help, call the National Human Trafficking Hot Line at the 24/7 Hotline 888-373-7888.

Prevention

A critical component to the prevention to Human Trafficking is education. RAASE is committed to educating our community on the topic of Human Trafficking so that fewer are victims to this crime. We are equipped to provide hour long education session to the community. RAASE also provides youth education through the Not A Number Program. If you would like to set up a time for our Community Educator to speak or are interested in the Not A Number program please fill out the Contact Form.

Protection

We are a trauma-informed, survivor-centered organization. The safety of a Survivor is our highest priority. RAASE currently maintains a low-demand Drop-In center that is located in the Midtown District in Rockford, IL. We provide meals, clothing, hygiene, rest, + referrals to those seeking a safe place.

Our Center is run by our Program Manager and a group of wonderful volunteer Advocates that have completed an in-person training. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer Advocate please or would like more information about our Drop-In Center please fill out the Contact Form.

Prosecution

RAASE partners with the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Tactical Unit and the Rockford Police Department.  Sexually exploited individuals should be treated with respect and offered an opportunity for help and services. RAASE functions from an end demand approach. The focus is on arresting the violators which create demand for forced prostitution and sex trafficking.  Violaters include "johns" or purchasers of sex and the traffickers, known as pimps, recruiters, handlers, brothel and massage parlor owners and managers.
